OUR HISTORY

Louise Rainer Pereira Gionédis graduated from the Law School of the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR) in the 1970s, at the same time and from the same school as her colleague, Giovani Gionédis. After completing their studies, they worked in the practical life of the profession. Before effectively practicing law through PGA, they worked in the corporate market and in public agencies.

In 1990, Pereira Gionédis Attorneys At Law was born. From this period onward, it grew, adding partners and associates, becoming a reference as a vanguard law firm. The calling to be at the forefront of practical activities - being one of the first structures in Southern Brazil to offer sectorized, multidisciplinary services, thus allowing a range of heterogeneous clients and also attracted the attention of top professionals.

Today, there are hundreds of collaborators including partners, associates, and employees. Besides the headquarters and the intellectual development branch in Curitiba, it has strategically located operational units in the cities of Porto Alegre, Florianópolis, Brasília, São Paulo, Cuiabá, Campo Grande, Goiânia, and Salvador. The ethical-legal and social values of PGA's founders are the pillars for partners, associates, and collaborators, representing differentials for those who come to the office.

ANTI-BRIBERY POLICY

The Senior Management has established, implemented, and maintains an Anti-Bribery Policy, which is as follows

Pereira GionédisAttorneys At Law, through its Senior Management and members, carries out its activities in a committed, integral, and transparent manner, seeking respect for the moral and ethical conduct established in its Code of Ethics, Conduct, and Compliance.

Therefore, it defines that:

  • It is forbidden to give, offer, or receive any type of bribe or advantage;
  • All must be committed to meeting the requirements of the Anti-Bribery Management System;
  • All can and should, upon learning of bribery or signs thereof, bring the matter to the attention of the CECC and the Compliance Officer, using the available channels: email compliance@pereiragionedis.com.br, website, or telephone;
  • In the case of a complaint where the accused is the Compliance Officer, it may be made directly to the CECC and Senior Management;
  • Those who make complaints about bribery are assured secrecy and no form of retaliation;
  • The Anti-Bribery Management System will be continuously improved and updated;
  • The CECC and Compliance Officer are assured autonomy to analyze and resolve complaints received in a full, broad, and unrestricted manner, as long as supported by the Anti-Bribery Management System, Code of Ethics, Conduct and Compliance, Internal Regulation of the CECC, other policies adopted by the office, and applicable laws;
  • Non-compliance with any requirement of the Anti-Bribery Policy will be evaluated and decided by the CECC and Senior Management, in accordance with its statute, which will decide on corrective and disciplinary measures with the application of the appropriate statutory sanctions.
